Skyesports Championship Series is underway where out of six qualified teams only two will get a chance to represent the South Asian region in the VCT APAC Challengers. Currently, the upper bracket semi final is over and Enigma Gaming becomes the first south asian team to qualify for the VCT APAC Stage 2, being undeafeted in the group stage and the play offs as well.
Orangutan Esports and Enigma Gaming came head to head and the map selection was quite predictable as Orangutan Esports banned Split and Fracutre, choose to play Icebox. Whereas Enigma Gaming banned Breeze and Bind, and choose to play Ascent, while Haven remains as the decider map.

The match started with Icebox as the first map where both the teams were neck and neck against each other. Although Icebox was OG’s map pick but EG gave them quite hard time in their attacking side. Rexy, Rawfiul and Excali showed some amazing clutch moments in their defending half making the first half 6-6. The second half of the game wasn’t disappointing either, both the teams were equally aggressive and were clutching against each other and making the game interesting. Rawfiul pulled off an unbelievable clutch and taking the game to the overtime. Finally in the overtime Orangutan managed to secure the map by 14-12 score.
Second map was Ascent where OG decided to start as defenders first and managed to pull off a first half score of 7-4, but things started to look difficult as OG as Enigma Gaming started to get into momentum by winning the second half pistol. EG made attacking half difficult for OG and only managing to win four rounds in attacking making Enigma Gaming the winners of the second map and making the match go to third map, which was Haven.
The third map Haven was quite an interesting map as OG being the team formed literally a month old before SCS tournament had only played the map five times but managed to win four of them. This was nothing compared to 78 of EG. Although EG looked quite confident in Haven while attacking as they started off by winning the 8 out of the 12 rounds. After the first half, the game looked quite one sided and Enigma Gaming secured the game and their VCT APAC Challengers slot with the score of 13-7.
