Jay Won, aka Sinatraa, has been focussing on streaming ever since he got banned from VALORANT competitive, and even after it was lifted, he decided to take a break. However, today, he announced that he is now ready to step back into it professionally and start giving tryouts this week.
Sinatraa tweeted on his official Twitter handle, “It’s been a year since I was forced to step back from competitive play. In that time, I have learned a lot about myself and grown as a person.”
Soon after he announced his return, the Sentinels fans got excited; however, there’s no information about the teams he will be giving tryouts for. That said, when a Twitter user asked him a question about it, Sinatraa replied that his “first choice would be to return to Sentinels.” However, ShahZaM has always denied his inclusion in the team whenever fans asked a question about his role.
On the other side, we saw some interest from 100 Thieves as well as Asuna replied with “wait…” however, there is no solid proof about which team he will be joining or giving tryouts for.
Sinatraa was banned from playing professionally in 2021 after his ex-girlfriend had accused him of sexual abuse. At that time, he was playing with Sentinels, and the organization suspended him from the roster even before the investigation was over.
If Sinatraa does join Sentinels, it will be interesting to see which player from the team will get benched or otherwise, as mentioned earlier, will he join the struggling 100 Thieves’ VALORANT team?
