COD Mobile Season 7 is all set to release on August 3 at 5 PM PT, and this time it’s called New Vision City. Along with a new season comes new features, and Activision is bringing a lot of them in the form of weapons, maps, game modes, and many more.
One of the new weapons that are being released is called Switchblade X9, which is an SMG. This gun made its debut in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Call of Duty: Mobile describes it as “a foldable weapon famed for its compact design.”

The players can obtain the Switchblade X9 for free by completing Tier 21 of the Season 7 Battle Pass. You can gain Battle Pass XP in various ways, such as by completing the events that are available in-game, keeping an eye out for the seasonal events and completing them, or simply playing the game.
Tier 21 seems pretty far off and if you are eager to get your hands on the Switchblade X9 as soon as possible, fret not because there are other means to reach the desired Tier. You can purchase Battle Pass Bundle that will give you a headstart as buying it automatically levels up the Battle Pass to Tier 12.
However, you will have to spend a bit more than the Premium Battle Pass as it will cost you 520 CP. Now that you know how to unlock the Switchblade X9, you can quickly get your hands on the desired weapon.
