According to a recent report by George Geddes, Max Katz and Bo Hoogland, Sentinels has been practicing without Jared “zombs” Gitlin who plays the role of the controller of the team. In addition to this, there are speculations that he might get benched by the organization before the VALORANT Stage Two Challengers begin.
As of now, there is no information regarding which player is the team practicing with however they plan to take tryouts of multiple players. However, according to the fans, Jay “Sinatraa” Won, the former VALORANT player for Sentinels could replace zombs and it’s quite obvious for everyone to think about that.
Sinatraa announced today on April 12 that he is ready to make a return in competitive VALORANT and will start giving tryouts this week. Not only this, but he also said that his “first choice would be to return to Sentinels.”
ShahZaM has always denied any sort of changes in the roster whenever asked but who knows he might be considering this. However, there is no official announcement by Sentinels regarding this matter, so all we can do is wait.
While the inclusion of Sinatraa in Sentinels’ VALORANT roster might receive a lot of criticism because of the sexual assault allegations by his ex-girlfriend last year, according to many fans including me, he can provide a balance that the team needs.
Riot Games has already lifted his ban and he is free to play any VALORANT tournament as a professional player.
