The rumors indicating the release of the mobile version of the popular tactical shooter game Rainbow Six Siege have come true as Ubisoft has officially announced Rainbow Six Mobile. The game is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and will be releasing on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Each game will have two teams consisting of five players each, and one of them will be the attacking team while the other will defend the site. Players can equip operators from the Rainbow Six universe with a unique skillset, weapons, and gadgetry. Rainbow Six Mobile will feature Bank and Border maps from the other versions of the game along with Secure Area and Bomb PvP modes.
In addition to this, the attackers can deploy observation drones to gain intel and strategically breach through destructible walls, floors, and ceilings, while defenders will barricade all entry points and use spy cameras or traps to secure their location.
The alpha testing of Rainbow Six Mobile will start soon, and players can register for it on the official Rainbow Six Mobile website and get a chance to test it before its release. You can have a look at the official trailer of the game below.
While the core gameplay, characters, and maps will stay the same, Ubisoft has rebuilt everything from scratch to make Rainbow Six Moblie compatible with mobile devices. This includes an entirely new gameplay control system developed specifically for mobile and extensive optimization of the UI and in-game visual presentation.
The release date of the game has not been announced yet, but we will update the information about it on our website once we get our hands on it.
