A couple of weeks after the end of VCT Masters Copenhagen, the VCT circuit is back with its penultimate stage of the season, i.e., Last Chance Qualifiers. Each region will be hosting its own VCT LCQ, where the event winners will be able to represent their region in the most awaited 2022 VALORANT Champions Turkey.
However, what’s most hyped talk in the VALORANT community is the upcoming VCT NA LCQ because the God of FPS shooter games Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek, is making his appearance back in the competitive, with one of the most popular VALORANT teams, Sentinels.
Since the announcement of Shroud back in Pro Play, most of the popular VALORANT streamers around the are claiming the VCT NA LCQ will be one of the most watched VALORANT tournaments in history. We don’t deny the claims either; however, you should keep your eyes on some other stars as well.
We have listed the top five players you need to look out for in the upcoming VCT NA LCQ 2022.
Top Five Players To Watch Other Than Shroud In NA LCQ
Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo
TenZ has undoubtedly been one of the most popular players when it comes to VALORANT. He has always been a player to look out for in any tournament, and this time is no different. But recently, after their tough loss and poor performance in the VCT Challengers NA Stage 2 and with the announcement of the new roster, the fans and the audience have raised their expectations not just for TenZ but for the whole Sentinels roster as well.
Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk
Asuna is one of the star players from the 100 Thieves roster; after their revamp of the whole roster, including the change in the role, Asuna played really well in the VCT Challengers NA Stage 2. His crazy movements and crazy play style make him quite a unique player. He has always been rated as one of the top players in the VALORANT NA scene, and the upcoming VCT NA LCQ 2022 is no different.
Trent ‘trent’ Cairns
Guard trent rose to popularity after the amazing game and firepower that he showed during the VCT Challengers NA Stage 1, but unfortunately, he couldn’t convert those plays into his first international VCT Masters Reykjavík tournament and in the VCT Challengers NA Stage 2.
Although individually, he performed really well in the Challengers NA Stage 2, it wasn’t enough to qualify for the VCT Masters Copenhagen. VCT NA LCQ 2022 may be where Trent will shine again.
Andrej ‘babybay’ Francisty
FaZe babybay is one of the players who doesn’t care how many enemies are in front of him; if he feels like he can take them out, he will push and kill them. His unique aggressive and self-sufficiency playstyle made highlights in the VCT Challengers NA Stage 2. The FaZe Clan player is one of the players whose next move cannot be predicted by the enemies or sometimes maybe himself.
Rahul ‘curry’ Nemani
C9 curry might be one of the most underrated players on the list, but he is one dark horse. Cloud 9 acquired Curry from T1 during the VCT Challengers NA Stage 2. Although he didn’t perform as expected during the Challengers, which is quite understandable.
Recently, Cloud 9 has been doing great in T2 tournaments, and Curry has been performing well with them. It looks like he is much more comfortable and confident now. Curry might be one of the big names in the VCT NA LCQ 2022.
