Update: Sentinels announces Kanpeki as Zombs’ replacement in their competitive VALORANT team officially.
Sentinels has dropped a bomb as they have announced that Zombs, who plays the role of controller, has left their VALORANT competitive roster. They have not announced his replacement in the team yet however as per a recent report by George Geddes from Dot Esports, Akrew player Eric “Kanpeki” Xu is in discussions to be signed by the organization.
This announcement was expected as Sentinels was spotted practicing without Zombs a few days ago. Also, the news came out at quite a funny time i.e. when LOUD created history to become the first Brazilian team to qualify for VCT Masters Reykjavík Finals and fans were first considering it as a joke.
Zombs will still be a part of Sentinels and might focus on streaming. In addition to this, earlier there were speculations that Sinatraa was going to be the replacement however this possibility was already demolished a few days ago by Riot Games as they announced that he has not completed his training yet.
However, we will soon get a confirmation about who will be taking Zombs’ place in Sentinels VALORANT roster as VCT Stage 2 Open Qualifiers will commence from April 28.
